Food Security/Zero Hunger Focal Area at Universalia
Efforts to address global hunger, food insecurity, and malnutrition have seen uneven progress, with critical work needed in the coming years to address these challenges and achieve a world free from hunger (see SOFI 2024 report). Universalia’s Food Security/Zero Hunger Focal Area supports organizations working on topics in food systems, sustainable agriculture, agricultural livelihoods, and food and nutrition security in different areas of their operational ecosystems. We provide a range of services focused on improving performance, conveying impact, and supporting design. Aligning with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 2 on Zero Hunger, we also work in cross-cutting areas such as Clean Water and Sanitation (SDG 6) and Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8).
