Dr. Syed Sajjadur Rahman, a Senior Associate at the Universalia Management Group and a Senior Fellow at the School of International Development & Global Studies, University of Ottawa, organized and presented papers at the Panel “Development Partnerships in Middle-Income Economies” at the CASID 2015 Annual Conference on June 4, 2015. The papers he presented were:
- Beyond Binaries: Understanding Emerging Development Partnerships with Middle-Income Countries (MICs) (with S.Barayni)
- Development Partnerships In Middle Income Countries (MICs) – The Transition Issues: A Case Study of Bangladesh (with M.Mujeri)
Dr. Syed Sajjadur Rahman also appeared as a witness at the Canadian Senate Standing Committee on Human Rights meeting on June 15, 2015. He spoke on the topic "Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and garment workers.”
In addition, Dr. Syed Sajjadur Rahman spoke at a Seminar on “Emerging Economies – beyond Aid” organized by the Aga Khan Foundation of Canada on June 17, 2015. He also moderated the session.
