Organizational Audit of the Ministry of Education of Niger

As part of the ten-year educational plan of the Ministry of Education of Niger, the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and the Government of Niger contracted Universalia to conduct an organizational audit of the Ministry of Education, based upon a field mission in Niger in June 2001. The audit was conducted in order to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the Ministry for engaging in the Ten Year Educational Reform in Niger, primarily in basic education. The audit focused on issues of organizational effectiveness, efficiency, relevance and structure and identified recommendations that were further translated into an Action Plan for change.
