Determining options for long-term institutional arrangements for the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI)

The purpose of this project was to examine the International Aid Transparency Initiative’s (IATI) institutional arrangements within the context of its past and future goals; and to provide support to the IATI Working Group on Institutional Arrangement’s (Working Group) development of recommendations regarding IATI’s long-term institutional planning and evolution. In this sense, the project was largely dedicated to providing strategic management support to the IATI working group, and therefore its Board of Directors leading up to its annual Member’s Assembly. The working group accepted the recommendations made by the Universalia team, and could overcome several years of strategic management blockages inhibiting institutional growth and advancement.
