Evaluation of the Caribbean Development Bank’s Gender Equality Policy and Operational Strategy

The evaluation examines the extent to which the Bank’s activities have promoted gender equality and gather lessons and
recommendations to inform a new iteration of Gender Equality Policy and Operational Strategy (GEPOS). The evaluation examines the
extent to which the Bank’s activities have strengthened its staff’s capacities and accountabilities for gender-responsive programmes
and operations that contribute to gender equality outcomes in BMCs. The evaluation also gathers lessons and recommendations to
inform a new iteration of GEPOS.

The evaluation is both backwards-looking, took stock of achievements and gaps to date, and
forward looking, to identified areas that should be considered by the next phase of GEPOS given the current context for gender
equality in the Caribbean.
