Universalia has Conducted a review of UNRWA’s Education Programme. UNRWA currently provides educational services to approximately 482,000 Palestinian students in 676 schools across five fields of operation. Quantitative and qualitative data is being collected by means of a document review, thematic research, in-person interviews, and questionnaires. A final report will be issued at the beginning of 2010 which outlines the Programme’s strengths of weaknesses and provides recommendations on how to increase the organization’s performance and the quality of its services.
