Universalia is proud to share that ten of our team members participated in the Montreal Beneva Marathon last weekend, exceeding our fundraising goal and raising $605 for the Native Friendship Centre of Montreal. Thank you to everyone who supported this initiative in various ways! Today, on the National Day of Truth & Reconciliation, we honour the survivors of residential schools and recognize their ongoing impact on Indigenous Peoples. Beyond our fundraising initiative, we encourage our staff to continue to acknowledge, support, and stand with Indigenous communities across Canada, as well as collectively educate ourselves and reflect on how we can decolonize evaluation and development practices in our field of work.
