Universalia was recently engaged to carry out a light review of the UN Flagship Joint Programmes in Ethiopia. The three joint programmes cover Maternal and Newborn Health, Gender Equality and building capacity in the developing regional states. The team of four is led by Rudy Broers, and is comprised of Universalia’s national consultants in Ethiopia. It is the second assignment carried out by Universalia in Ethiopia in 2013, following the MOPAN assessment in that country. It also follows on from Universalia’s previous work in reviewing organizational structures such as Delivering as One, and various types of joint programming modalities.
