Universalia was selected to carry out a Thematic Evaluation of Partnerships in Children and Youth Programming on behalf of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development. The purpose of this evaluation is:
- to inform the delivery of development interventions through partnerships in the area of child and youth protection; and,
- to support improved decision-making for future initiatives through the provision of lessons and considerations.
The users of the evaluation are developing country partners, local community groups and organizations involved in child protection, and DFATD. The evaluation will be conducted in 2015 and will include visits several countries (including Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Peru, and Thailand) in order to analyze partnerships and approaches being used to strengthen child protection systems.
