Peter Bracegirdle is a monitoring and evaluation consultant and an evaluator with 30 years of experience in education and international development programs. Working primarily in education and government sectors, Peter has carried out 25 evaluations for Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Global Affairs Canada, International Monetary Fund, Federation of Canadian Municipalities, Caribbean Development Bank, Caribbean Community, The University of the West Indies, and the State Council of the People’s Republic of China.
Peter has delivered M&E services to governments and implementing organisations in 30 countries in Asia and the Pacific, the Caribbean, Africa, Canada and Europe. He has acted as M&E Advisor to governments in Canada, Australia, China, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, Guyana and Kiribati. From 2014 to 2019, he lived and worked in Indonesia as quality and innovation advisor in DFAT’s Australia Awards scholarship program. He has also lived and worked or studied in China, Germany and Nicaragua. He has worked as M&E advisor to financial institutions, including the World Bank, IMF, CDB and the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank, and to Caribbean regional institutions, including the CARICOM Secretariat, the Commission of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States, CDB, UWI, ECCB and the Caribbean Court of Justice. Peter has worked for numerous implementing agencies in Asia and the Caribbean to develop their M&E frameworks, systems, tools and capabilities through training and technical assistance. He has carried out over 250 consulting assignments for his clients.
