Universalia has been contracted by the WFP to evaluate its South-South and Triangular Cooperation (SSTC) Policy. The SSTC Policy was developed with the objective to expand the WFP's engagement with developing countries to facilitate progress towards the Zero Hunger challenge and the SDGs. As per WFP policy evaluations, Universalia will evaluate the quality of the policy, its results, and seek to explain why and how results have occurred. The findings, lessons and recommendations of the evaluation will be used to inform WFP thinking and approaches to SSTC in the future (including through revisions of the SSTC policy), and inform WFP's practices in planning, implementing and monitoring SSTC initiatives.
