The purpose of this evaluation was to demonstrate the impact generated by the 545 ADS projects prior to 2006. In our methodology, we proposed two samples: a first one that included 10% of the 545 projects for which we conducted a document review in French and Arabic. The second sample contained 15 of those projects for which a control group was created and a field mission was conducted. The project sample covered the three axis of intervention by the ADS: basic social infrastructure, revenue-generating activities and capacity reinforcement of social actors.
